Elementary School - Welcome

 The elementary school at the American School of Kosova, offers a wide range of experiences for your child.

From the academic basics of Math, Science, Social Studies and English, your child will also be afforded the opportunity to study the Albanian language on a daily basis.

Also offered are classes in Music and Art, along with Physical Education. Not only will your child become well versed in many fields, exercising not only the mind, but the body as well. All of our students, grades 2-8, are offered these classes with the chance to express themselves.

New to the school this year, is the Discovery Program, offered to students in Grades 5-8. This program allows the students to have a direct say in their education by allowing them to select classes that offer a wide range of topics. Examples of these classes include; the ASK Choir; Behind the Lens ( a course in film study); Capture the Moment (photography); What’s in the News, along with a wide variety of other options.

Here in the Elementary School we emphasis instruction in English and hold high expectations for all of our students. We expect our students to follow the school’s motto: “Educating the leader of tomorrow, for a better future”
