Donika Shabani has been a 1st Grade Teacher at the American School of Kosova since 2010.
Ms. Shabani has experience in working with children with special needs. She used to serve as a Caregiver / for a child with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, for a child with Asperger’s Disorder. Moreover, she worked as a Project Coordinator at the Center for Protection of Victims and Prevention of Trafficking, and as a psychologist at a District Court of Prishtina. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of Auckland, whereas her postgraduate studies focus on Child Mental Health (Child Psychotherapy) / Diploma in Violence and Trauma Studies from the Auckland University of Technology.
