Ionela Hysenaj

Ionela Hysenaj has been teaching at ASK for 12 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Geography and a Master's degree in Population Studies. Ionela teaches Geography, Global Perspectives, AP World History, and AP Comparative Government and Politics in high school. She is a passionate reader and has published an article about writing recommendation letters for students in Kosovo Education publication. She has been in multiple trainings over the years and has certificates from Kosovo Education Center, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, ASK PD Trainings, Kosovo Learning Summit, and French Ministry of Education. Her favorite learning quote is, “Don’t just teach your children to read…Teach them to question what they read. Teach them to question everything.”
