Welcome from the Head of School

Welcome from the Head of School

Welcome to the American School of Kosova website.  We hope that you will take the time to get to know us a little more by exploring it.

If you were to visit us in person, we think you would be impressed and excited about our new campus as much as we are. For the first time in our history, all students in grades nursery through 12th grade are located on one campus in two beautiful state of the art buildings!

Our new campus has plenty of  natural light, creative spaces for learning, new science and art labs, modern furniture, a huge professional kitchen and comfortable cafeteria, two libraries, and an exciting outdoor play area.

Also, if you were to visit us, you would see happy students engaged in a variety of learning activities; excited about their learning and comfortable with their peers and teachers.  If you were to talk with one of our teachers or principals you would hear them tell stories about whole school projects, a lesson that they just created that engaged their students, their participation in a recent meaningful staff  training or most likely share a personal story about an individual student who has made great growth.

Faculty have described our community with the following adjectives: dynamic, caring, diverse, creative, inspirational, emerging, and trusting and are proud to be a part of ASK. As you look through our website and read about our curriculum, profile, enrichment programs and alumni stories of success, we hope that you too will be inspired to be a part of our mission and vision.

With best regards,

Shannon Bruce Ramaka, Ed.D.
